Program Overview: Find Your Lane

Our Masters program (ages 18+) is led by credentialed, professional USMS certified coaches. We don't just provide "lap time"; we provide athlete development through technical mastery and structured intervals.

Coached Workouts:

Every practice is led by expert USMS coaches who provides active feedback on stroke mechanics and pacing.

Targeted Training:

Our sets are designed to help you reach your specific goals, whether that’s a personal best in a 5K open water swim or improving cardiovascular health.

Team Atmosphere:

Our program is known for its additional emphasis on community and having fun at practice and beyond.

Flexibility:

Swimmers can attend at any frequency with registration, and while coaches are eager to teach new skills, non-freestyle strokes and equipment can be subbed as needed.

Who We Serve

Triathletes & Open Water Swimmers:

Some of the most experience triathlon and open water coaching in the state, for work on technique, endurance, speed and injury prevention.

Former Competitive Swimmers:

Thank of your time off since team swimming as a long taper. And now, it's time to enjoy that team environment again. No speed requried!

Adult Fitness Swimmers:

Use innovative and informative coaching to improve your understanding and skills in the sport, as you enjoy the support of a welcoming team!

Practice Schedule & Location

Our practices are held Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM at the Eden Prairie Community Center. Attendance is flexible, allowing you to join whenever it suits your schedule. Whether you prefer a couple of days a week, daily attendance, or a varied schedule, our practices cater to your needs.

How to Join the Masters Community

Ready to experience the Foxjets difference? We make it simple to get started.


Participating in the Foxjets Masters program is $50.00 per month, billed monthly, granting you access to all practices. Additionally, members are required to join United States Masters Swimming (USMS) at a cost of $60 on a calendar year basis, which includes insurance coverage and other benefits. A one-time $50 registration fee for Foxjets Masters is also applicable.

Our automated billing system provides the convenience of auto-payments by credit card, billed on the first of each month. If you ever need to adjust your membership, simply notify Foxjets Head Coach, Lloyd Larsen (lloyd@swimfoxjets.com). You can leave at any time without incurring additional fees.


Not quite ready to commit? Email Coach Dave to inquire about joining a practice or two before registering. We also welcome drop-ins for current USMS members at a fee of $10 per workout, payable by check or cash immediately prior to each session. Dive into the Foxjets Masters experience!

About Coach Dave

Coach Dave Cameron brings 27 years of coaching experience and a deep commitment to Masters swimming growth in Minnesota. Dave is a USMS and ASCA Level 3 coach, and the recipient of last year's USMS National Coaching award for Grassroots Coaching.


His journey in swimming began at Carleton College, where he earned recognition as a 15-time all-conference swimmer in distance freestyle events. Dave continued his enthusiasm for distance swimming as he ran a triathlon and open water masters program in the West Metro, while training for, and completing, two solo English Channel swims.


Dave serves as the Coaching Director for Total Immersion worldwide, often traveling internationally for open water camp and coach education. His coaching prowess extends to the international stage, having coached a medal swimmer to the Paralympic finals in both 2016 and 2020, and coaching at the 2024 Canadian Olympic Trials. Besides coaching Foxjets Masters, Dave runs private lessons, outdoor swim practices, and swimmer clinics for adults around the metro, and he is the Co-Head Coach of the Benilde-St. Margaret High School Boys Swim Team.


Dave's primary philosophy is to find ways through education, creativity, and enthusiasm, to bring joy to any swimmer's experience.
